What we can do for you
We firmly believe that a tenants' contents insurance scheme is a package combining insurance protection at a competitive rate with high-level service standards for administration and claims handling. The success of a scheme should be measured by the combination of these things in addition to the level of tenant participation.
We work closely with insurers and loss adjusters who specialise in tenants' contents insurance, and provide a link to housing providers looking to offer a superior insurance package to their tenants.
Having worked with social housing providers for over 10 years, we recognise that the requirements of each vary greatly. Learning from our customers, we have developed a flexible range of products to suit the needs of both the housing provider and its tenants.

Insure-with-rent scheme
Insure-with-rent schemes are successful by their very nature because they meet the immediate requirements of the socially excluded -those on low incomes and without bank accounts- by providing an insurance product which allows small regular payments for tailored insurance cover.
Administration is a key factor in the provision of an insurance product for many local authorities and housing associations. We work closely with all our clients to ensure smooth administration processes, providing extensive on-site training and manuals. Our exclusive insurance software can be linked to housing management systems to manage insurance and premium payment records.

Arms length scheme
Arms length schemes provide a solution for local authorities or housing associations that do not have the facilities to provide an insure-with-rent scheme.
This method allows the provision of a scheme whilst outsourcing the administration to a third party. Whilst this method does not allow payments to be made with rent, it can give more flexibility with regard to payment method and frequency, offering weekly, fortnightly, monthly or annual payments, normally via a swipe card facility.

Generic scheme
Our generic scheme will be launched soon to provide a facility for smaller social housing providers not large enough to sustain a scheme in their own right. It will offer the same benefits to tenants, and use the same administration method as our outsourced schemes.
